Being a teenager in the ’80s meant living two minutes to midnight, listening to music that warned how the Reaganite revolution was a neo-fascist takeover. (A thesis explored fully in Charlie Angus’s Dangerous Memory, and even now made by once hardcore Reagan boosters.) This 1988 song is but one example:
